The reason that i chose the book fast food nations is because the cover of the book really caught my eye.It kind of made me wonder why would someone want to write about food that seems kind of fat. Then again i said that the author probably wanted the word to know what really gones on when the food goes into the markets, and the grocery stores, and so on.
The author of my book fast food nations which is Eric Schlosser born august 17 1959 is an american journalist. He is well known for investigative journalism such as his books, fast food nations , reefer madness, and chew on this which is a childrens book. Eric spent his childhood in los angeles california. His father is Herbert Schlosser, a former wall street lawyer who turned to broadcasting later in his career eventually became presidant of NBC in 1974.Eric appeared in an interview for the dvd of morgan spurlock's super size me. He made public appearance with robert kenner, and interviewed by Franny Armstrong in 2005 and is featured interviewee in her film Mclibel.
I think that the way knowing the truth about the american food is pretty crazy cause now i actually know what goes on before our food is being put into the grocery stores, markets, and so on.

  2. How do you think the cover of the book caught your eye in interest as oppose to the other book covers? I admire how your post reflects the qualities that pulled you into the book and clearly you payed attention to important dates and years! Well done. To go further, you could maybe explain a quick example of "what goes on" with the food you get before you get it.
