Post#4: Critical Review/ Personal Reflection

This book amazed me in so many different ways. Such as how much a person could love their job, food, and nation as a fast food industry. Carl N. Karcher and the McDonalds brothers showed us many reasons why people enjoy our nation how it is and how they love to provide us with unhealthy food and service. During the story they did an interview/investigation on what kind of service and maintenance they provide in a fast food industry. First of all its very filthy, well most of them and their just a lack of use. If your comparing them to other food places in the world. They mostly higher people who really really desperately NEED the job and oh are there lots of those people in the world. Do you know why though? Most of the fast food places now and days provide health care insurance or something if you work there and alot of people need that. Especially with all the babies people are making. lol.
As I was talking about in one of my other posts, in the book they were also talking about how the book has changed american society or pretty much the world and made it more mature. Which I don't understand at all! I felt like they were trying to make a positive moral lesson from eating fast food. But really, there should be a negative outcome to the whole book and that should be STAY AWAY FROM FAST FOOD BECAUSE YOU ARE KILLING ANIMALS AND YOU WILL DIE! I'm not saying people should all go vegetarian but you should avoid fast food everyday. Eat some vegetables or something, do activities. Thats why you see so many overweighed people these days. Its kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
How does knowing the truth affect your behavior? I say the truth affects alot about you because you don't know whats coming. Sometimes it might just hit you and your whole mood will change. It all depends on what truth your actually saying. When it comes to the story, knowing the truth about fast food and where it all originated from and how it came about to be so popular, is quite interesting in a shocking way. You would never expect such a small town in a small business selling meat packaging would turn out to be the biggest fast food industry of all time! You would never imagine that to come about, would you? I would most definitely NOT recommend this book to anyone because its just sort of, a waste of time really. It's common sense. FAST FOOD IS BAD FOR YOU AND YOUR HEALTH!

    I know I am super late on commenting, but you seem to have a lot of information and I like the details you provided. What I also like is how you installed a little bit of fear into the reader's mind. I'll tell you this much I was scared. I'm going to have to think twice before I eat another Big Mac or a Double Cheeseburger. I like your point of view and your original ideas. A little bit of organization and it'll be even better.

    Do you think it was positive or negative that Karcher cared so much about the fast food industries, because it was a good business or because it was bad health for the entire nation? I admire how much time you put into the post and how you bolded important parts. I dont know how you could further your post. Good job.
